It has already been two years since the CLD, the MRC and the SADC organized public consultations and workshops to develop the Vision 2020’s Action and Strategic Plans. These meetings between the citizens of the Pontiac and our partners have greatly helped us to lay the foundation of this approach and to understand the perceptions of the population toward their environment.

During these consultations and workshops, we reflected on issues such as tourism, culture, community relations, entrepreneurship, economy, environment, agriculture, the forestry industry and the necessary infrastructure development of our MRC: trains, forestry roads, industrial park, high speed internet…

Two years later, it is once again time to reflect on these essential concerns for the future of the Pontiac. The CLD, the MRC, the SADC and their partners, including the Chamber of Commerce, the Pontiac Tourism Association, the CEDEC, the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi and Emploi Quebec, wish to discuss the completed projects, the current projects and the unsuccessful projects.

We would like to invite you to a meeting on November 17th from 5 p.m.  to 7 p.m., at the Recreational Centre in Campbell’s Bay, where we will review what happened during the last two years and where you can discuss topics of great interest to you with the Development Officers.

Come and participate and let’s change our future!
